Newly established CHI Brewery is proud to bring brewing back to the historic city of Chichester. With a rich brewing heritage, Chichester can once again enjoy locally brewed, top quality real craft ales and lagers.

Producing exceptional craft beer for the local market, we support the initiative to reduce food miles and supply locally. Many 'national brands' are transported long distances and suffer from poor storage and handling.

CHI Brewery has revived many of the much-loved flavours of the brewers of the 1800's and added a modern touch from the flavoursome hops of today. James Atkey, and 3 successive generations began the East Walls Brewery and ran it till 1880 when they sold out to Royds & Marsden. There were many small breweries located in central Chichester which were gradually bought out by the bigger companies, these practices progressed on through the years culminating in huge companies owning large numbers of brands and pubs.

CHI Brewery is a back to grass roots start-up where quality and integrity prevail.
