Twinwoods Adventure, based in Milton Ernest, Bedfordshire, are donating 72 games of their remote live escape room, Morse Code, to NHS staff to celebrate 72 years of the NHS.
At the start of the lockdown, Twinwoods Adventure became one of the first companies in the world to transform their real-life escape room into a fully immersive experience that can be played from anywhere in the world. Using video call platforms like Zoom, players guide a real-life avatar around the rooms to find the clues, solve the puzzles and escape.
Playing Morse Code remotely enables people to play with friends and family anywhere in the world. Games have already seen players in Scotland, Canada, and South Africa all play together. With games available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, people can play at a time that’s most convenient to them – perfect for people that work shift patterns.
To go some small way to say thank you to our incredible NHS heroes, Twinwoods Adventure have donated 72 games of Morse Code to anyone that works for the NHS.
There’s no gimmick, no discounts, no buy this to give that. Just completely free games for NHS staff to play with up to 4 of their friends or colleagues anywhere in the world – each worth £100
To get a free game, NHS staff simply had to register online, and then 72 names were selected at random to play.
Roy Castleman, MD Twinwoods Adventure, comments: “As people emerge from lockdown, it’s more important than ever to help bring them together in a positive way, that will help boost their mental health and provide an engaging experience. As a business that’s working hard to put the environment at the forefront of everything we do, playing remotely offers a great experience without the need for anyone to travel.
After the huge success of our remote live escape room, Morse code, it’s wonderful to be able to offer free games to our incredible NHS heroes that have done so much for us all during the Covid 19 pandemic.”
