Keep The Momentum

With lockdown many businesses have put their trading on hold, but this doesn’t mean they cannot prepare for when we come out the other side. Unfortunately some have quite literally locked the doors and shut up shop. Failure to be prepared for exiting lockdown could bring even more discord to an already strained business.

Preparation is Key.

When lockdown ends or restrictions are lifted so that you can once again trade, it is key to be in a position where you can pick up where you left off and more importantly let your customers and clients know. Here are some key pointers to keep your business afloat and off to a running start once you resume trading.

Keep Your Customers in The Know!

You can do this quite simply by keeping your social media up to date, with news of when you are reopening, up and coming promotions and even taking pre-bookings or appointments (where applicable.) By doing this you will get the support of your fans and followers who will help you through these difficult times.

Promote Your Business.

Be ready to send out leaflets and flyers to let your customers know when you reopen, Geoff Gill from https://proprint2k.co.uk/ is offering his clients a special lockdown exit package consisting of all the necessary printed materials needed to get you back in the game, give him a call to discuss your needs.

Be Responsive

Just because you can’t trade, you can still take enquiries, divert calls to your mobile or home number and deal with your customers enquiries, take pencilled in bookings, take their details so that you can get back to them after lockdown. The important thing, is to show your customers you will be back and look forward to doing business with them.

Finally, and not really a pointer but sound advice, don’t give up, keep a level head and strategize on how to overcome the challenge. In the words of Winston S. Churchill “Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
