Over £1.325 billion of car purchases has already been processed through the multi-award-winning solution
Bearsted, United Kingdom, October 2021 - GForces, the industry-leading automotive ecommerce solution provider, has won the award for Best Website Provider For Franchised Dealers at the Car Dealer Power Awards 2021.
The title, claimed by its industry-leading NetDirector® Auto-e software platform, is the company’s sixth in a row at the awards, a record in the hard fought category.
The automotive retail landscape has evolved dramatically since the pandemic began. As such, the need for retailers to adapt, embrace and embed digitalisation as part of their operations has never been greater. Indeed, over £1.325 billion of car purchases have already been transacted through GForces’ NetDirector® Auto-e.
In just two years, more than a third of all UK retailer sites have switched to the platform which is built entirely around the needs of automotive dealers. The solution enables a full end-to-end ecommerce journey whilst maintaining complete customer ownership. Naturally, the platform offers everything from taking a reservation on a vehicle, to full finance applications with an instant credit decision, as well as key features such as automated basket abandonment email alerts and trade-in arrangements for more complex transactions. The inherent flexibility of the NetDirector® Auto-e platform also enables numerous third-party integrations and customisation of the software.
Commenting on the award win, GForces’ Tim Smith, Chief Revenue Officer, said, “We are absolutely delighted to see our NetDirector® Auto-e software platform win big yet again at the Car Dealer Power Awards. As with many industries, COVID-19 has accelerated the shift to online retail, with car buyers appreciating the ease and transparency which ecommerce brings. We are proud to have supported our customers over the last 18 months in such challenging times as they have adapted in such a dynamic automotive retail landscape. Enabling our current and future customers to continue embracing an omnichannel approach and embedding its potential into their operations to increase both efficiency and profitability is, and will continue to be, our key focus.”
James Baggott, Editor-in-Chief, Car Dealer added, “GForces were highly praised by their customers in our survey, who have been blown away by the quality of the e-commerce technology it’s been able to implement for them.”
Research conducted by GForces in April 2021 found that the UK auto retailing industry could save £1 billion each year by adopting an omnichannel business model that suits the needs of both those customers who wish to buy a car purely in the digital world, and those who still wish to visit retailers for certain phases of the transaction.
