Open the boot, load in the bicycle and off you go. It sounds easy, but is definitely not possible in all cars – and certainly not when there is more than one bicycle to be transported. In addition, this transport method can cause some unexpected issues, such as damage to the vehicle. For the increasingly popular pedelecs in particular, experts strongly warn against horizontal transport. Because the crankcase and the electric motor are permanently connected, incorrect transport can easily cause serious and expensive damage to the drive of the bike. The truly safe way to transport bicycles is to use a carrier for the towbar. The Atlas Active from Hapro is new in the range at www.rameder.eu and comes in versions for one or four bicycles.

The Atlas Active I - 13P, which Rameder now offer for a special price of 208 euros is strong, safe and compact. This carrier with a maximum load capacity of 30 kg is easy to install and makes it simple to load and transport a bicycle or e-bike. This product stands out on account of its uncomplicated handling and top quality. The 7.6 cm wide holder makes it easy to transport even a modern fatbike. A ratchet fastening on the fastening straps, which are additionally equipped with rubber protectors for the rims, hold the bicycle securely in place. The integrated locks offer reliable theft protection. Particularly useful: The bracket can be folded so that the carrier takes up significantly less space when it is stored away.

The Atlas Active IV - 13P, which will be available from February 2022, offers all the benefits of its smaller brother, but can hold up to four bicycles or several e-bikes. The maximum load capacity is 60 kg, making this carrier ideal for trips with the whole family. It is available in the Rameder online shop at www.rameder.eu for 398 euros. It also features a lockable frame holder and the integrated locks for reliable protection of the bikes. And if something is needed from the trunk, that is not a problem either, as the folding mechanism allows for uncomplicated access to any luggage even with the bicycles in place.

The extensive Rameder range naturally also includes useful accessories such as the convenient loading rail to get the bikes onto the carrier without heavy lifting.
