In France, the ZPA temporary environmental zone of Arve Valley has been activated due to an air pollution peak. In the border region between Italy, Switzerland and France, this could lead to increased checks during the next days, which will severely disrupt traffic.

Today and tomorrow, 08.01.2019, trucks without the French Crit’Air environmental badge and trucks with the Crit’Air badge class 5 are not allowed to drive in the temporary environmental zone. If the air quality still remains bad, further driving bans may be imposed in the following days. Follow our website crit-air.fr or our free Green-Zones App, where driving bans are displayed interactively on the maps as well as in the zone description.
