From the 1 November, local convenience store retailer One Stop will be introducing Eddy the Elf and his family across its stores this Christmas. Their Facebook Augmented Reality (AR) app, provides an interactive experience and the chance to WIN an all-inclusive holiday to Lapland, cash prizes and thousands of other goodies!
One Stop is the first convenience retailer ever to create an Augmented Reality (AR) game which will allow customers to open the ‘Find Eddy the Elf’ app, visit the store and join the search to find the One Stop ‘Helfers’ hiding in stores!
Eddy the Elf - a little character with a big personality - will be popping up in One Stop stores from 1 November, ably assisted by his family of elves – Eve, Eric, Auntie Elsie and Baby Elfy!
Playing on the traditional ‘hide and seek’, the game works once customers go into a One Stop store and play the game through the One Stop Facebook page on their mobiles. Presents will appear in real time, on the phone screen as if floating around the store. They click the presents to reveal an Elf and they could be a winner, with prizes ranging from a Malteser chocolate Reindeer or a box of Matchmakers Orange, to entry to One Stop’s weekly £1000 prize draw, or an all-inclusive holiday to Lapland for 4 people!
Alongside these exciting opportunities to win, all of One Stop’s customers will be able to take advantage of the winning promos, with fantastic deals across well-loved brands. Over the festive period One Stop is partnering with Thorntons, Mars, Foxes, Nestle, Tango, Coca Cola and Walkers, bringing the best value possible to their local neighbourhood stores. In addition, customers will be treated to special Christmas offers each week to save even more money, whilst getting some fabulous treats for the whole family during the festive period.
