Earlier this year, in June, the Lind Automotive Family acquired the Herts Triumph business to add to their group with long standing Triumph stores including Jack Lilley Ashford and Triumph East London. The group re-located the business and the all-new store, re-branded as; Triumph North London, opened its doors for customers earlier this year in June. The launch event was hosted on Saturday 14 September.
On the day the team welcomed over 1,000 people and hundreds of motorcycles to their brand new purpose built store on Thomas Sawyer Way, Trade City. The event was a great opportunity to bring the previous customers of Herts Triumph together with the new premises and facilities and to introduce new customers to the Triumph brand.
The event hosted a range of attractions including complimentary Hog Roast, Alcohol free beer from Rok Soba, live DJ set provided by Chris Benn and a stunning display from the team at Surrey Customs. The team from Jack Lilley Ashford and Triumph East London joined the party and brought along a selection of custom Triumph Motorcycles including the Bobber Build Off entries and a special one off custom Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Bonneville.
Customers and friends of Triumph North London were invited to enter the Custom & Classic show with a chance to win £50 to spend at the new store for the winner. Entries were on display throughout the event and judged in the afternoon with speeches from Toby the regional manager of the Lind Automotive Family and Devron Boulton from Triumph GB presenting the team with a very special custom signed tank from all of the team at Triumph GB to mark the occasion.
